2be E-shop (www.e-2be.bg) project won the prestigious "IT Project 2008" award by Computerworld Bulgaria

On 03 February, at a solemn ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Sofia, were awarded the winners of the fifth edition of "IT Project of the Year" competition, organized by Computerworld Bulgaria with the support of DSK Bank. The purpose of the joint initiative is to promote expertise in building IT solutions in the Bulgarian organizations and to provide information on the extent of use of IT in the country. Number of approximately 30 projects competed in two categories - "Public Organizations" and "Corporate projects". In the "Corporate projects" category the jury assigned first place for 2be Electronic shop project. Implementation of the technology platform for SOA and integration with existing SAP ERP environment were carry out by software company Musala Soft.
2be e-shop is based on SOA architecture and it represents the first real exploitation of Oracle SOA Suite technologies in interaction with SAP business applications. Implementation of an "online store" complete solution will help 2be in achieving business goals of the company; reduce sales and maintenance cost, and increase coverage of domestic sales. Technology platform will enable the offering of more innovative approaches in the field of online sales and further building B2B integration with partners and suppliers.
"The project is important for Bulgarian IT society, because it demonstrates how approaches for building IT solutions for large multinational organizations can be applied in a cost-effective manner and at the same time provide competitive advantage of successful companies from Bulgaria, and especially from the private sector." - commented Plamen Tsekov, Technical Director at Musala Soft
