Nikolay Grozev, "Center for Innovations and Applied Research" - Musala Soft presented team's achievements in the field of software metrics at the International Conference - CompSysTech 2010     (българска версия)

The Eleventh International Conference on Computer Systems and Technologies CompSysTech'10 was held on 17-18 June in Sofia. Nikolay Grozev, Workgroup Leader at "Center for Innovations and Applied Research" - Musala Soft presented team's achievements in the area of software metrics, in the session Computer Systems (Software).

Nikolay presented team's approach to the systematic and tool-supported source code measurement for quality analysis. During the lecture, called "A Framework for Source Code Metrics", were shared summarized results from the extensive study, held by Musala Soft together with Assoc. Prof. Neli Maneva, Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The research reveals that all existing similar approaches possess a number of defects related to lack of specific information's reporting in the analyzed application. Therefore the new framework's goal is to provide common functionalities for contextual source code evaluation through a set of metrics. The presentation can be downloaded here

The conference was divided into six thematic sessions with about 100 presentations and was visited by a considerable number of international guests. The Twelfth edition of CompSysTech will be held in Vienna, Austria.
