McKinsey, a leading management consulting company, organized its fifth conference focused on outsourcing and offshoring in Europe - European O&O Conference/EESTCom. Last year's data shows growth of 11% in the IT outsourcing in Central and Eastern Europe (as the IT growth for the continent is 1%) and analysts expect a growth of 5-10% for this region in 2010. McKinsey's recommendation to governments of small countries as Bulgaria is investment in the development of talents instead of financial incentives targeted to attract foreign investments.
Elena Marinova, President and Plamen Tsekov, VP Business Development in Musala Soft received personal invitations to join the event, held in Bucharest in the period 17-18 June. EESTCom gains significant importance and wins recognition as one of the few forums that analyze in details the outsourcing status and tendencies in Central and Eastern Europe. McKinsey takes heed of emerging destinations and this year's emphasis was Tunisia. The country, which is hosting the conference, traditionally offers all visitors a brief cultural program. Bucharest impressed over 80 special guests from more than 60 companies and 20 courtiers with an exquisite reception hosted by Detlev Hoch, Head of Global Software&Services Practice in McKinsey&Company, organized in the former palace of Nikolae Chaushesku - the second largest administrative building in the world.
