On October 28th, hundreds of It professionals attended MUFFIN Conference Skopje 2017 at Mladinski Culturen Centar in Skopje, Macedonia. The forum was organized by Musala Soft for a second year in a row.
Main topic of the event was Connected Mobility and latest trends in the automotive industry. Autonomous vehicles and Connected Cars were discussed in the keynote presentation by the guest speaker at MUFFIN Conference Skopje 2017 – Stefan Klaenhardt, Head of Quality Management/Product Support at ESG, Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH, Germany.

Stefan Klaenhardt explained the fast-growing need of software developments in the automotive industry and presented his experience in the area in the collaboration between the German company ESG and Musala Soft in developing software for the leading car manufacturer BMW.
After his presentation, he took part in a discussion panel with leading experts from the company – Delyan Lilov, CEO and Kraicho Kraichev, Engineering Director. They talked about how “smart” cars can be and all guests could get into the conversation, ask questions and share their viewpoints.
The forum was attended by H. E. Marjan Gjorchev, Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the Republic of Bulgaria and Antoniya Veleva, first secretary Culture and Education of H. E. Ivan Petkov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Macedonia.
MUFFIN is an annual IT conference, organized by Musala Soft. For a second consecutive year, it gathered hundreds of software engineers, IT specialists and some of the best speakers in the area of technology innovations, trends, processes, and soft skills. The format was modified this year with more discussion panels for better interactive experience. There were also special stands at which visitors could get informed about the four main areas of the company operations: Augmented Intelligence + Big Data, Cloud, IoT + QA.
Speakers at MUFFIN Conference Skopje 2017 were company experts in the areas of Smart Cars, Data Streaming Design, Digitization of assets through Blockchain Technology, Command Query Responsibility Segregation and security of applications and servers. in the agenda, there were also discussion panels on Cloud Integration, innovations and Trends in AI and Microservices.

The atmosphere at the conference was friendly, cozy and casual and there were many prizes for the visitors provided by the partners of the event. Everyone that completed successfully the challenge by the masters of quests „Real life“ was included in the raffle. The fans of escape room challenges received vouchers for 10% discount by Escape Room, and one of the guests at the conference won a voucher for a free escape game. MUFFIN Skopje partners Kinezika took care of the comfort and wellbeing of the conference attendees, provided vouchers for 20% discount, made massages in the breaks between the presentations and gave away 10 vouchers for free massage in their salons. One of the MUFFIN Skopje visitors won a comfortable orthopedic chair provided by Medicus Help. The event partners from the publishing house Akademska kniga awarded one of the participants with a set of books and gave discount vouchers to the other visitors. the fun was guaranteed by Goblin, who provided board games as prizes and gave away discount vouchers for their products. After the end of the conference, the spirit was warmed up by the wine of Stobi. MUFFIN Skopje partners of Office Plus provided USB sticks to the visitors and one of them won a voucher for their shops.
