In the final there will be an exciting meeting with the world-famous IT guru – Yuhao Du. Du is a Chinese competitive programmer. He has participated in IOI 2015 where he won the gold medal. In 2017 he got to the ICPC final, where he took the silver.

The first round of CodeIT Season 2019/20 (marathon) will be held online for 3 weeks – it starts October 19th at 9Am EET and will finish on November 9th at 8PM EET. The round includes one task, for which every participant has to reach the optimal solution compared to the other contestants.

“This is a competition that stimulates and develops the talents of young programmers in an environment which is the closest to the real professional environment, while providing opportunities for strong contacts and collaboration. That is why we admire and support this initiative of Musala Soft, and we wish many more and more successful editions. Successful performance to all participants!”, said Associate Professor Parvan Parvanov, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and one of the patrons of the first round of the contest.

“I hope that the words of Lucius Annaeus Seneca will motivate you as they have motivated me: “Аalteri vivas oportet, si vis tibi vivere” or “You should live for another if you would live for yourself””, added Dr. Antoan Tonev, principle of Sofia High School of Mathematics and also a patron of the first round.
