The International Programming Contest CodeIT, organized by Musala Soft, which is now in its 18th season, is fast approaching to the final stage.
The ranking after 5th round (Marathon) is now final both for the general and for the junior group and it can be found at the contest website. the contestants has three weeks to solve 1 task with the option to upgrade and improve the solution for the whole duration of the round.
There are a total of 6 preliminary online rounds (3 Marathon and 3 Sprint rounds) before the grand final in Sofia on June 4th, which will be held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The final of all preliminary rounds – the 6th one, will be held on May 12th at 16:00h (local time in Sofia, Bulgaria). The contestants, which are some of the most talented young programmers in the region, will have three hours to solve five “quick” tasks and reach exact results for each of them.
The sixth round will be held under the patronage of the Mayor of Plovdiv Municipality, Eng. Ivan Totev. In his greeting to all CodeIT contestants, he said: “International contests like CodeIT are a wonderful opportunity to create a critical mass of young programmers and to increase their competence level putting them into an international competitive environment.” He wished good luck and positive emotions to all participants.
CodeIT partners Colliers International and Area 52 will award all contestants with a non-zero result from the forthcoming sixth round with an aero-fun jumping experience. They will visit the biggest trampoline park in Bulgaria, situated at an area of 1,000 sq meters in Sofia. They can choose between trampoline jumping (including international professional competitive trampolines), basket smashing, walking on a wall, gladiator fights, climbing stairway, crossing of bridge with obstacles, giant air pillows for jumping and many others, so they can get charged with adrenaline and good mood.
