After being invited by the founders of the Emerging Europe Alliance for Business Services, Innovation & Technology, Elena Marinova, President of Musala Soft joined the Steering Group of the organization. The Alliance is aimed to foster innovation and creativity in Europe`s emerging markets.
The presence of Bulgarian representative in Steering Group of the Alliance puts Bulgaria into focus reinforcing our important role in the region and the achievements of all great Bulgarian leaders, companies and NGOs that work for the development of the IT sector in the country.
As a member of the Alliance Steering Group, Elena Marinova will give directions for its development and will work for the region to become more recognizable worldwide as a preferred digital services, innovations and talents hub.
Besides Elena Marinova, among the first three members of the Steering Group are also Paula Kennedy Garcia, VP of EMEA markets at Convergys and Alina Pop, CEO at Electrogrup.
The appointments were announced as the Alliance formally launched on June 22nd at the Emerging Europe Awards, taking place at the Headquarters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Over 350 people were in attendance, including UK Members of Parliament, plus government officials and other dignataries from across emerging Europe. The Alliance has 17 Founding Members and launches with 40 Member organizations from within the region and beyond, including the UK, US, the Nordics and Germany.
The Steering Group members are elected for a period of one year either through voting or by personal invitations. Among them are business leaders who have proved to have an active role and great results not only in the positioning of the organization they represent but also in promoting the potential of the whole region. In their communities, these leaders fulfill initiatives with high social impact that contribute to the development of their professional communities.
