One of the first in the world large-scale blockchain implementations of IBM was presented at MUFFIN Conference 2017 in Sofia on October 14th. The conference about technologies, innovations and soft skills gathered hundreds of IT professionals of different levels and different areas of IT. The event was organized by Musala Soft for 6th year in a row.
The keynote speaker Norbert Kouwenhoven, member of IBM´s Global Trade Digitization Team and Solutions Leader for IBM EU in the area of Customs, Immigration and Border Management, presented his experience with blockchain technology and the Hyperledger platform. “Global Trade Digitization is one of the first real blockchain applications and will have a major impact on supply chain logistics worldwide”, said Kouwenhoven.
His presentation was followed by a discussion panel on cryptocurrencies and digital assets. After that, the conference continued with lectures on Front-еnd Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps, Business Analysis and Soft Skills, as well as discussion panels on Cloud Integration, Augmented Intelligence, Big Data, IoT, JavaEE, Quality Assurance, Front-end, Business Analysis, UI/UX, etc. Around 40 speakers – leading experts from Musala Soft shared their knowledge and experience with the guests and answered the multiple questions that followed.
To boost interaction, networking and informal communication, at this year`s MUFFIN Conference in Sofia there were dedicated stands where guests could get information on the four basic areas of operation of the company – Augmented Intelligence + Big Data, Cloud, IoT and QA, as well as for anything else related to Musala Soft and the opportunities for career development that the software company offers.
