The new academic year in The Technical unicersity of Sofia was officially opened. Special guests of the ceremony were Tanya Mihaylova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, and Mariyana Nikolova, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Demographic Policy. After the opening Elena Marinova, president of Musala Soft, Ivaylo Katsarkov, Talent development manager, and Stefka Ognyanova, Corporative communications leader, spoke in front of the students of the three leading faculties.

Mrs. Marinova met with the students of The Faculty of computer systems and Technologies. “The university and the specialty you have chosen are one of the best and most important for the IT business. You are already following Somerset Maugham’s philosophy: “If you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it”. So learn, travel, make friendships, have fun, be well, make the best of the life of a student, we will be waiting for the best ones of you in Musala Soft!”, Mrs. Marinova told the students.

At the The Faculty of German engineering and industrial management, Mr. Katsarkov, a graduate of The Technical university, said: “Here you will have the exceptional opportunity to learn from some of the biggest specialists in their fields. A big part of Musala Soft’s customers are German companies in different industries – telecoms, automotive, finance etc. We welcome the opportunity to work with German language taught students because this gives more added value for our partners”.

In front of the students of The Faculty of applied mathematics and informatics spoke Stefka Ognyanova. “The Technical university has prepared over 100 000 engineers until now, but they are not enough. There is hunger for well taught IT specialists. Take the maximum from your stay here, because knowledge is taken, not given”.
