Musala Soft, as a sponsor and a partner of the International Autumn Tournament in Informatics IATI 2019, rewarded some of the medalists in the tournament.

IATI is one of the international informatics tournaments, which Musala Soft supports as a part of its policy for working with the high segment of IT specialists. The company is co-founder of the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (eJOI – https://www.ejoi2019.si/ ) and creator of the oldest privet tournament for competitive programming Code IT (http://codeit.bg/ ), who’s 20th anniversary season is currently underway.

“Musala Soft’s business is focused on big international projects for leading corporations and we know what is needed now and will be needed on the market in the future. The segment of specialists, which will be the backbone of innovations worldwide, are being born and formed in tournaments just like IATI”, said Elena Marinova, Musala Soft’s president.

The 11th edition of the tournament was held in Shumen, with over 180 participants from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine takin part. The gold medalists received their rewards from Musala Soft.

The Bulgarian competitors in the 11th edition of IATI won a total of 19 medals in both age classes – students up to 15-and-a-half years old and high school students. In the second one our representatives won 4 silver and 6 bronze medals, while the younger ones winning 2 silvers and 7 bronzes.

“We would like to thank our great friends at Musala Soft, for whom investing in education and supporting IT talents is a mission! It’s great that we are together in the organization of IATI 2019! We saw strong Russian competitors at the top, and that is not a coincidence. This year the best country performance on the international informatics Olympiad was Russia’s – 4 gold medals. Those 4 winners, including world number 2 Ildar Gaynulin – were here. The Bulgarian presence was massive. Our national team did pretty good. Last year we had a gold medal and this year we took a silver – Martin Kopchev did”, said Biserka Yovcheva, chairman of the organization committee of the tournament and leader of the local mathematics and informatics school “A&B”.
